Working meeting on SEOIs development for WWER-440 reactor units took place

Experts of the Chornobyl Center’s Laboratory of Safety Analysis of Nuclear Facilities and Potentially Hazardous Technologies took part in the working meeting dedicated to the development of Symptom-Based Emergency Operating Instructions (EOIs) for WWER-440 reactor based units.

Representatives of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant, State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety, as well as consultants of the Westinghouse Electric were present at the meeting held in Kyiv on January 31- February 4, 2005.

During the meeting, technical issues on revision of A-3 draft instruction “Primary to secondary coolant leaks” of the Rivne NPP Unit 1 EOIs package were subject to discussion.

RNPP experts will review A-3 instruction based on the meeting results.
