Issue of INSIGHT was launched in 1999 and covered the news of the International Chornobyl Center only; however, during the period of its existence, INSIGHT has transformed into a popular informational edition describing various aspects of the effort to alleviate the Chornobyl disaster effects including Slavutych development, prospects of its economic and social growth.
In layman’s terms, INSIGHT publicizes the Slavutych potential in the national and international markets, activities being carried out at the Chornobyl site and within the exclusion zone, ecological status of the contaminated area, efforts of the Ukrainian Government and international community to address the whole set of Chornobyl problems and for Slavutych to alleviate the effects of the Chornobyl NPP early closure.
INSIGHT is published in three languages: English, Ukrainian, and Russian. The magazine is distributed in more than 50 countries of the world.
In February 2004, the journal won in the town action ‘Slavutych Resident 2003’ under the nomination ‘Informational Support to Slavutych’.
