The training course for Iraqi scientists

From 17 to 30 October, 2011 specialists of the International Radioecology Laboratory of Chornobyl Center conducted a training-course for Iraqi scientists on “Measurements on a liquid scintillation spectrometer, using different methods of sample preparation for analysis”

and “Cytogenetic methods. Fluorescent hybridization in situ (FISH)”.

The purpose of this training was to train Iraqi specialists to use modern cytogenetic methods for their further use in radiobiological studies, including assessment of radiation burden in humans.
