Study on reducing the bioavailability of radionuclides in the fallow lands and testing techniques that contribute to this process

Client: Savannah River Laboratory, USA.
Period: 2011-2012

The object of this work was to evaluate the direction of the bioavailability of radionuclides (90Sr, 137Cs, 241Am, 238-240Pu, 234,238U) in two soil types of the exclusion zone (mineral, organic) and assessment of the effectiveness of some methods of agrochemical effects on soil as means of reducing it. Idea and design of studies were offered by the partners of Savannah River National Laboratory (USA) in the framework of the project (AC81965N).
