Visit of Slovakia Nuclear Society representatives to the International Radioecological Laboratory of Chornobyl Center

On September, 13-15, 2011 Slovakia Nuclear society representatives of Bogunizk NPP, staff of Slovakia Academy of Sciences, graduate students of Slovakia technical and geophysical universities visited the Chrnobyl Exclusion Zone,  conducted the measurement of radiation dose and analysis of radionuclides in the samples from “Red Forest , visited the survey pavilion of «Shelter» object.
Today, on September, 15, 2011, delegation visited the International Radioecological Laboratory (IRL).

Excursion was conducted by the candidate of biological sciences, senior research worker Julia Maklyuk.

During the meeting J.Maklyuk told about the history of MRL creating, about scientific researches conducted by the scientists of the laboratory, about its technical equipment.

During the conversation new MRL projects were discussed, collaboration with the scientists from different countries in the research area of the Exclusion Zone flora and fauna and also possible collaboration with Slovakia partners were mentioned.
