Specialists of the International Radioecology Laboratory, the Chornobyl Center, will participate in the technical workshop devoted to the issues of planning and implementation of the environmental assessment of the Tuwait ha Site in Iraq

The workshop will be hosted in Amman (Jordan) on July 18-21, 2005 by the Environment Research Center of the Royal Scientific Society.

The U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation will sponsor the workshop.

Experts from Iraq, Jordan, USA and Ukraine will take part in the workshop.
